Ingrid Design is a Singapore-based creative agency providing branding, design, social media, digital content and integrated marketing communications services.
We work with government agencies, multinational corporations and established local organisations across a wide range of industries.
We are looking for a curious, creative and motivated Social Media Executive Intern who is eager to learn and gain practical experience in content writing, social media planning and content production.
This internship is suitable for students or recent graduates who are interested in building a career in social media, digital marketing, content creation or creative communications.
Key Responsibilities
Content Planning and Writing
• Research current social media trends, industry topics and audience interests
• Assist in generating creative content ideas for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and other digital platforms
• Support the writing of captions, headlines, video scripts and social media copy
• Assist in preparing monthly content calendars and posting schedules
• Adapt content tone and messaging for different brands and target audiences
• Support the preparation of campaign ideas, proposals and presentation decks
• Check that content is accurate, relevant and aligned with the client’s brand guidelines
Content Production
• Assist in planning photoshoots and video productions
• Help prepare shot lists, scripts, storyboards, props and other production materials
• Support coordination with clients, designers, photographers, videographers and talents
• Attend and assist during content shoots when required
• Assist with basic photography, videography and mobile content creation
• Support the creative team in developing social media content from concept to completion
• Review draft content for consistency and alignment with the approved direction
Account and Project Support
• Support the team in managing social media accounts and campaigns
• Assist in consolidating client feedback, approvals and content revisions
• Help monitor project timelines and content delivery schedules
• Assist in scheduling and publishing approved content
• Support the preparation of basic social media performance reports
• Monitor comments, messages and audience responses when required
• Stay updated on platform changes, new content formats and emerging social media trends
• Assist with general project coordination and administrative duties when required
Requirements
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Advertising, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline
• Strong interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to write clearly and develop engaging content ideas
• Creative, organised and attentive to detail
• Willing to learn, take initiative and accept feedback
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative agency environment
• Able to manage assigned tasks and work within deadlines
• Comfortable being involved in content shoots and production activities
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe software, photography or video editing will be an advantage
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok will be an advantage
• Previous internship, school project or freelance experience in social media or content creation will be an advantage, but is not required
