Social Media Manager
Posted
Compensation: ₹2L – ₹4.8L • No equity
Job Overview:
Artikate Private Limited is seeking a hands-on Social Media Manager who can own brand presence end to end — strategy, content, and production. This is not a scheduling-only role. The ideal candidate writes the post, cuts the video, designs the creative, publishes it, and reads the numbers afterwards. You should be equally comfortable in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve and in a design tool, and confident building a content pipeline from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Own and execute the content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and X, aligned to brand positioning and hiring/business goals.
- Video Editing: Edit long-form and short-form video — basic cuts, colour, sound, subtitles, motion titles — using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Graphic Design: Design static creatives, carousels, thumbnails, banners, and presentation assets consistent with brand guidelines.
- Content Production: Plan and run shoots where required, including basic camera and audio setup, and manage footage from capture to publish.
- Content Calendar: Build and maintain a publishing calendar; ensure consistent output volume and on-time delivery.
- Copywriting: Write captions, hooks, video scripts, and post copy in the brand voice.
- Community Management: Monitor comments and DMs, respond to inbound queries, and route leads to the right internal team.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track reach, engagement, watch time, and follower growth; report monthly and adjust the plan based on what the data shows.
- Collaboration: Work with engineering and leadership to translate technical work into content a non-technical audience understands.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1–3 years managing social media accounts with direct, hands-on responsibility for content production — not just scheduling or agency coordination.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one professional editor: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools — Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Canva Pro.
- Strong command of written English, with the ability to write clean, non-generic copy using AI Tools.
- Practical understanding of platform mechanics and formats across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Ability to read platform analytics and act on them.
- Portfolio: A portfolio or reel is mandatory. Applications without links to actual published work will not be reviewed.
Restrictions:
- Dedicated Working Hours: The candidate must be available to work during the designated working hours as per the agreed-upon schedule.
- Exclusivity: The candidate will not be allowed to engage in any other employment, consultancy, or freelance work during the period of employment with Artikate Private Limited.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience running a YouTube channel — personal or professional — is a significant plus. Tell us the channel, the subscriber count, and what you learned running it.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics work.
- Prior experience marketing a B2B, technology, or engineering brand.
- Familiarity with thumbnail design and title/hook testing for YouTube.
- Basic photography and videography skills, including lighting and audio capture.
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or similar).
