Social Media Manager

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Reports to: Marketing Director

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Position Summary

Dialed Moods and Dialed Labs are redefining modern wellness through culture, design, and performance. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes lifestyle storytelling — someone who can translate our wellness-driven product ecosystem (functional botanicals, energy drinks, electrolytes, sea moss gummies, cold-plunges, saunas, red-light therapy, and more) into scroll-stopping content that moves culture forward.

This role owns the full social ecosystem across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. You’ll blend creativity with data, influencer awareness with brand discipline, and fast-moving execution with a deep understanding of health, fitness, recovery, and wellness trends.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of aesthetic intuition, cultural fluency, and analytical thinking — someone who can shape the voice of two fast-growing, culture-forward wellness brands.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Content Strategy + Creative

  • Develop and execute holistic social strategies for both Dialed Moods (functional wellness beverages & supplements) and Dialed Labs (wellness tech: cold plunges, saunas, red-light, recovery tools).

  • Create, curate, and publish high-impact content — lifestyle, product, behind-the-scenes, educational wellness content, UGC, and culture-driven storytelling.

  • Maintain and manage a unified content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging wellness-forward platforms.

  • Ensure every post aligns with brand identity: clean, bold, energetic, wellness-centric, and culture-driven.

Community Engagement + Brand Voice

  • Engage daily with our audience — comments, DMs, story replies, reposts, and creator interactions.

  • Build a strong online community rooted in wellness, performance, recovery, and lifestyle culture.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects confidence, intention, and authenticity.

Influencer + Creator Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Influencer/UGC team to amplify creator content across channels.

  • Support creator campaigns, repurpose content, and identify new opportunities for UGC storytelling.

Analytics + Optimization

  • Track KPIs (engagement, follower growth, retention, click-throughs, conversions, content performance).

  • Analyze platform performance and deliver monthly insights with recommendations to increase reach, resonance, and ROI.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, algorithm shifts, and platform updates specific to the wellness, fitness, and lifestyle sectors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Sales, HR, and Product teams to support launches, campaigns, hiring branding, and community initiatives.

  • Coordinate with creative agencies, photographers, videographers, and content partners.

Paid Social (as applicable)

  • Collaborate with digital advertising partners on paid social campaigns for new product launches and funnel growth.

  • Provide content direction and creative insights aligned with performance metrics.

Competitor & Market Awareness

  • Monitor competitor activity in the wellness, fitness, beverage, and recovery-tech spaces.

  • Share weekly intel on industry shifts, cultural trends, and growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.

  • 2–4 years of hands-on social media management for a brand, preferably in lifestyle, CPG, wellness, fitness, or consumer tech.

  • Proficiency with content tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.) and scheduling platforms (Later, Sprout, Hootsuite, Planoly, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of social KPIs, audience segmentation, and retention-driven content strategy.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and visual communication skills with a strong eye for aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health, fitness, wellness, beverage, or lifestyle industries.

  • Familiarity with influencer/UGC campaigns and creator economy workflows.

  • Working knowledge of paid social platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Promote, YouTube tools).

  • Bonus: Experience in community building, email marketing, SEO, or broader digital strategy.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.

  • Occasional evening/weekend work for campaigns, productions, or live event coverage (e.g., Dialed Day, pop-ups, product drops).
