Description

Munich, Germany · Full-time (35 hrs/4-day week) · Social Media Marketing About the role Do you love platforms, content and communities – and see social media not just as a channel but as a culture? Then we're looking for you: a creative and strategic talent with a feel for aesthetics, language and content that works. As Social Media Manager, you'll own Hydraid's entire presence on Instagram (80%) and other channels (20%) – from content concepts and storytelling to data-driven optimisation. Your role → Strategy: You develop the social media strategy for our channels – target audiences, formats, frequency and editorial planning. → Content production: You plan and manage all content, from Stories to Reels, from posts to collaborations. → Collaborations: You work closely with our content and partnerships team to deliver strong creator and sports collaborations. → Format development: You develop formats and recognisable content elements that grow reach, followers and engagement. → Storytelling & tone of voice: You translate our brand tone into images, video and captions – sporty, smart, motivating. → Performance: You analyse performance, draw learnings and evolve our content strategy based on data. Requirements → At least 3–5 years' experience in social media management or content creation. → A strong feel for aesthetics, visual language, copy and trends – executed on-brand. → You know the mechanics of Instagram and LinkedIn, from the algorithm to the range of formats. → Experience building or growing brand presences, ideally in a start-up, DTC, agency or media environment. → You develop content ideas around product education and make them exciting and engaging. → You plan, coordinate and execute independently – including working with creators and internal teams. Benefits → A creative, high-impact role in a fast-growing start-up, starting now → 4-day week on full pay (35 hrs/week) → 1–2 days working from home per week, otherwise in our Munich office → Lots of responsibility, short decision paths and flat hierarchies → Fair pay and 22 days' holiday Interested?
