Social Media Manager
Spinato's Pizzeria & Family Kitchen | Phoenix, AZ (hybrid, remote, travel across all six+ valley locations)
Full-time | $60,000–$70,000/year, DOE
About Spinato's Pizzeria & Family Kitchen
Spinato’s Pizzeria & Family Kitchen is a family-owned and employee-owned Arizona restaurant brand that has been serving the Valley for more than 50 years. With six locations across the Phoenix metro area and a growing footprint, we’re proud to be the Official Pizza of the Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury and Arizona Cardinals, while staying deeply rooted in the local communities that got us here.
Our marketing is intentional. Every post, campaign, partnership and story should have a purpose and feel unmistakably like Spinato’s. Our voice is human, warm, conversational and never overly corporate or sales-driven. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who understands that great social isn’t about posting just to post or going viral. It’s about knowing our audience, finding the story worth telling, creating genuine connection and protecting a brand that our family, employee-owners and guests have built together for generations.
About the Role
As Social Media Manager, you'll own Spinato's brand voice, content strategy, and visual identity across every social channel. You'll schedule the social content calendar and creative direction, manage our paid social advertising program, and work hand-in-hand with our Social & Content Creator, who brings your strategy to life. This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically about brand and campaigns, but is just as comfortable supporting wherever needed.
What You'll Do
Brand Voice & Content Strategy
• Define and safeguard Spinato's brand voice across every platform, adapting tone appropriately channel-by-channel while keeping it recognizably “Spinato's” everywhere.
• Build ongoing content strategy that blends always-on brand storytelling with micro-focused campaigns, new menu launches, limited-time offers, seasonal moments, community events, and location-specific promotions.
• Own the master content calendar across all six locations, sequencing posts and campaigns so timing lines up with promotions, events, and slow/high seasons.
• Optimize social content and profiles for SEO: keywords, captions, alt text, and profile details to improve discoverability across platforms.
• Brief the Social & Content Creator on messaging angles, shot lists, and deliverables for each week or month, and review and approve content before it's scheduled.
Visual Brand Identity
• Maintain visual guidelines for photography style, color treatment, typography, and templates so content aligns with our brand identity and brand guidelines.
• Support editing for photos in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, and video in Premiere, to keep a consistent, polished final look.
• Build and design ads in Canva for social media, in line with brand guidelines.
• Periodically audit each channel for visual consistency and brand alignment, and flag drift before it becomes a pattern.
Paid Social Advertising
• Own paid social planning and execution, primarily through Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram) audience targeting, creative testing, and budget pacing across all six locations.
• Test ad creative and copy variations to improve engagement and conversion, iterating based on performance data.
• Track and report on spend, reach, click-through rate, cost-per-result, and ROAS by campaign and by location.
• Explore incremental paid opportunities on platforms like TikTok, Pinterest, or YouTube as budget and bandwidth allow.
Content Creation
• Step in to support a content shoot, or produce photo and video content directly when a quick turnaround or an in-the-moment opportunity calls for it.
• Bring ideas for new content formats and platform trends to test, rather than waiting to be asked.
• Help with the creative direction for content needed for the schedule, based on ongoing social insights.
Collaboration & Reporting
• Partner daily with the Social & Content Creator as their primary point of direction and feedback on produced content.
• Manage daily community engagement (comments, DMs, reviews).
• Coordinate with location managers for on-site content opportunities; events, renovations, new menu tastings, employee highlights, community moments.
• Report social and paid performance, insights, and recommendations to the Marketing Director on a regular cadence.
