Social Media Marketing Apprentice
Elite Marketing Systems are looking for an energetic, confident Social Media Marketing Apprentice with great communication skills and a positive, outgoing attitude and wants to build a real career in marketing.
About the role:
This is not a basic posting role! Your work will play a key part in wider client strategies, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow into a bigger position within a full-service agency. You’ll also gain exposure to marketing on a much wider scale, including strategy, psychology, branding, design, sales, lead generation and more. And all team members are expected to support in other areas of the business where required to support the team.
By the end of probation, we’d expect you to be handling your responsibilities confidently, communicating with clients directly, and delivering strong paid and organic social media work without assistance. This role offers a clear progression path: Assistant Social Media Manager → Account Manager → Head of Social.

You must have:
Confidence in your abilities and be able to lead conversations to get the right outcomes
2 years’ practical experience in a marketing agency (desirable but not essential)
Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
Strong video and image editing skills using tools like Canva, CapCut and similar
The ability to manage client accounts confidently, or be close to doing so
Hands-on experience managing paid Meta ads (desirable but not essential)
Be based in or near Milton Keynes
Driving licence and own vehicle
Entry requirements:
3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
Full-time. Initially hybrid (you will be required to attend the office Thursdays and Fridays with Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays being home based unless advised otherwise)
Becomes full-time office based in Milton Keynes following successful 3-month probation (probation may be shorter for a strong candidate)
Full-time hours are 9am - 5pm (start times are flexible so long as no later than 9am and full day’s hours are completed)
Part-time hours are negotiable
