Social Media Marketing Lead
You will own daily social media management and content creation across Walrus channels. You will plan and measure social-led campaigns, support product and partner launches, grow the YouTube channel, organize X Spaces, and run social listening. You will support executive social communications, manage KOL and creator relationships, activate events, and coordinate cross-functional marketing projects, schedules, and email campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute social media-led campaigns from concept through measurement
- Support partner and product launches with coordinated social content, promotion, and drip marketing campaigns
- Plan, execute, and track integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and events
- Coordinate with regional marketing and paid social teams during key campaigns and launches
- Manage the brand's presence on new and emerging social platforms
- Run social listening to track sentiment, trends, and conversations and inform strategy
- Own daily social management and content creation across all channels
- Build and scale the YouTube channel through a content roadmap, uploads, and content optimization
- Build and maintain a repeatable content schedule and series
- Write and edit social copy for different channels and audiences
- Organize, schedule, and execute Walrus-hosted X Spaces
- Amplify executive communications across social channels
- Support leadership social media accounts through writing, engagement, and content strategy
- Identify, build, and manage relationships with KOLs and creators
- Coordinate creator content for campaigns, launches, and events
- Lead social activation around events to drive awareness and attendance
- Assist with marketing events, including conferences, activations, sponsorships, logistics, and design needs
- Manage marketing projects from conception through completion
- Maintain project and editorial schedules and track campaign delivery
- Support email marketing campaigns, including drip sequences, list management, content creation, and performance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts
- Communicate with stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent messaging
Requirements
- 6–9 years of proven social media marketing or similar experience with ownership of brand social channels
- Experience working with KOLs and creators, including sourcing, relationship management, and campaign coordination
- Experience with social listening and applying insights to content and campaign decisions
- Experience managing drip or lifecycle marketing campaigns tied to launches
- Experience supporting executive or leadership social communications
- Organizational and project management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with social media management and listening tools, email marketing software, and content management systems
- Understanding of copywriting, SEO, PPC, and analytics
