Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and highly engaging Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our client's social media presence, with a primary focus on Facebook engagement and community management.

This role goes beyond simply publishing content. The ideal candidate will actively engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages, foster meaningful interactions, increase audience participation, and help build a strong and active brand presence. In addition, the specialist will support content scheduling, social media strategy execution, performance tracking, and audience growth initiatives across social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Facebook Community Management & Engagement

  • Manage daily Facebook activity, including comments, messages, reactions, and community interactions.

  • Respond to audience inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.

  • Initiate conversations to increase engagement and community participation.

  • Monitor discussions, reviews, and mentions to maintain a positive brand reputation.

  • Escalate customer concerns and sensitive issues appropriately.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain company social media profiles.

  • Schedule and publish social media content according to content calendars.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to support campaigns and promotional initiatives.

  • Optimize posting schedules based on audience engagement trends.

Social Media Marketing

  • Support the execution of social media marketing campaigns.

  • Assist with audience growth strategies and brand awareness initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.

  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to recommend new ideas and strategies.

Content Support

  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams.

  • Suggest content ideas based on audience interests and engagement insights.

  • Repurpose existing content to maximize social media performance.

  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice and marketing objectives.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track engagement metrics and campaign performance.

  • Monitor KPIs including:

    • Engagement rate

    • Reach

    • Follower growth

    • Response time

    • Community sentiment

  • Prepare regular performance reports with actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Social Media Management, Community Management, or Digital Marketing.

  • Strong experience managing Facebook business pages and communities.

  • Excellent written English communication skills.

  • Experience responding to customer inquiries and engaging online audiences.

  • Strong understanding of Facebook best practices and engagement strategies.

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and management tools.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts.

  • Experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter).

  • Basic graphic design experience using Canva or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of Facebook Insights and social media analytics.

  • Experience supporting paid social campaigns.

  • Background in community building, customer engagement, or online reputation management.
