Job Title: Social Media & Shortlet Manager
Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time (2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off)
Salary: ₦150,000 Monthly

About the Role

Peculiar Shortlet Apartment is seeking a creative, proactive, and results-driven Social Media & Shortlet Manager to grow its social media presence and oversee day-to-day shortlet operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, hospitality, and guest relations, with the ability to create engaging content and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the apartment's social media platforms.
• Create engaging content, including photos, videos, reels, and promotional materials.
• Respond promptly to enquiries, messages, and comments from guests and potential customers.
• Manage shortlet bookings, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
• Coordinate guest communication and ensure excellent customer service.
• Promote available apartments and special offers to increase occupancy.
• Maintain accurate booking and guest records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure apartments are guest-ready.
• Prepare regular reports on bookings, enquiries, and social media engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1–3 years' experience in social media management, hospitality, shortlet management, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good photography, videography, and content-creation skills.
• Ability to use Canva and other basic content-creation tools.
• Experience managing shortlet/Airbnb bookings will be an added advantage.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be proactive, presentable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
