As part of the Omnicom Agencies Group, the 14 Agency network handles all global advertising for CUPRA and SEAT car brands. With offices in 11 countries and counting, 14 is a place for those who like to bend the rules. It’s a place for rock’n’roll. At the heart of Barcelona, and beyond.

Diversity is more than a commitment for us — it is the foundation of what we do.
Role Purpose
We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to join the CUPRA Global Social Strategy team. Someone with an insatiable curiosity about digital culture, platforms, and communities, and the ability to translate all of that into strategy.
Someone who experiences the internet beyond their feed; who understands the lore, knows what's behind the screenmaxing, and recognizes when something is "that's so AI." Someone who scrolls with curiosity, knows how to separate the noise from the signals that matter, and connects what's happening online with what's happening in the real world.
Your challenge will be to transform this constant reading of culture into strategic opportunities for CUPRA. Because knowing what's happening online is good; understanding what it means for the brand and what to do with it is what makes the difference.
Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy
Develop social strategies aligned with CUPRA's positioning and objectives.
Define opportunities, territories, and strategic approaches to build a relevant and distinctive social presence.
Translate brand and business challenges into actionable strategies, briefs, and recommendations.
Contribute to evolving the role of social media within CUPRA's global strategy.
2. Cultural & Audience Intelligence
Identify cultural shifts, behaviors, communities, and conversations relevant to the brand.
Analyze platforms and audiences to understand what motivates them, how they engage, and what they expect from brands.
Transform cultural and social insights into strategic perspectives and opportunities for CUPRA.
Distinguish between a trend that deserves attention and an opportunity that warrants a brand response.
3. Strategic Development & Measurement
Develop strategic frameworks and criteria to guide social media decisions.
Work with Social Creative, Content Planning, and Data to connect strategy, ideas, and results.
Evaluate the contribution of social media initiatives to brand objectives, incorporating lessons learned into future strategies.
Present and defend strategic recommendations to teams and stakeholders.
Profile we are looking for:
Experience in Social Media Strategy, Digital Strategy, or brand and communications strategy.
Solid knowledge of the main social media platforms and their codes.
Curiosity about contemporary culture, communities, entertainment, and audience behavior.
Ability to transform information into insights and insights into a clear strategic direction.
Critical thinking, independent judgment, and the ability to construct and defend a point of view.
Ability to connect brand, business, culture, and social media without resorting to generic approaches.
Good communication and presentation skills, autonomy, and the ability to work in a team.
Advanced English; experience with global brands is a plus.
Demonstrable experience understanding social media and internet culture.
In short: someone who not only understands what's happening on social media, but also what it means for CUPRA and what the brand should do about it.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sexual orientation, or age.
