Thank you for your interest in the Social Work Assistant positions within Adult Social Work Service, which is part of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.

Our Adult Social Work Service is looking to appoint two part-time social work assistants to make a difference to outcomes for people in Fife who use our services.
These 18-hour posts will be based within the Dunfermline and Leven locality adult social work teams.
As a Social Work Assistant, you will support adults, families and carers through assessment, review and support planning processes. Working alongside qualified Social Workers and partner agencies, you will gather information, support engagement with individuals and families, contribute to reviews, and assist in delivering person-centered outcomes. As well as working on your own, you will be part of a supportive team which includes registered social workers.

The essential qualifications for this post are:
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership (Protected Adults) through Disclosure Scotland.
A relevant qualification such as SVQ 3/HNC or equivalent.
Experience of community-based support and multi-disciplinary working with a range of Health and Social care agencies and/or the Voluntary sector would be desirable.
The ability to travel throughout Fife is a requirement.
