Job Summary
The Social Work Associate supports the Volunteer After-Care Programme by managing administrative tasks for the IIMAC & ETP initiatives, assisting volunteer recruitment and welfare, and engaging in client work to aid desistors and their families.
Responsibilities
Manage administrative tasks for:
- Initiative for Incarcerated Mothers and Affected Children (IIMAC) focusing on the wellbeing of children of incarcerated mothers and their caregivers
- Early Triaging Process focusing on dependents of incarcerated women in need of support
Support volunteer management processes including recruitment, training coordination, volunteer engagement, and welfare monitoring to maintain a committed volunteer pool
Assist the Volunteer After-Care Programme Manager in implementing programme standards and processes to deliver consistent service quality
Engage directly with clients to provide support aligned with programme goals, facilitating reintegration and well-being
Collaborate closely with volunteers to foster effective communication and teamwork within the Association
