Department Overview

Position Summary

We are hiring a Part Time .6 FTE Clinical Social Worker, to complete our Cardiovascular Care Social Work Team. This role will join together with our multidisciplinary medical team, to see patients and families in our Specialty Clinic. We provide psychosocial assessment, mental health support and brief therapy, family support, and crisis support. Our team supports patients throughout their diagnosis including hospitalization. The growth of our Cardiovascular Care service area is robust and will continue into the future. We are proud and excited to serve the needs of all families who come to Children's MN for their comprehensive care. Our Social Work team is rooted in equitable care and trauma informed practice; we are prepared to support our growing patient population with a vast range of medical diagnosis and individual needs.
