Social Worker/Medical Liaison (MOC DG)

Intro/Program Description: Goddard Riverside Community Center is a partner within the Manhattan Outreach Consortium (MOC) a borough-wide initiative to serve the unsheltered community. The Downtown team serves lower Manhattan and collaborates with various community partners and healthcare agencies throughout Manhattan. The Downtown Goddard catchment area includes 23rd St and below. The Uptown Goddard catchment area serves the Upper East & West side of Manhattan.

Purpose of Position: The Medical Liaison works creatively and effectively in the community to engage individuals living on the street through outreach by utilizing a harm reduction approach. The position coordinates and supports the activities of the team’s medical and psychiatric providers to deliver integrated care to our clients. Be additional support in completing clinical assessments and potential emergency removals via 9.58 of clients at risk.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary Range: $56,000-$61,000

Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
