SOFTWARE AND APPLICATIONS MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications, including SAP-based enterprise solutions.

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Manage application development projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

• Oversee SAP application initiatives, including SAP implementation, configuration, customization, integration, upgrades, and ongoing support, in alignment with business requirements.

• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to deliver solutions across relevant SAP modules and integrate SAP applications with other enterprise systems.

• Coordinate internal development teams, SAP consultants, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
  

  Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in application development management, software project management, enterprise application delivery, or a similar leadership role.

  • Experience managing the end-to-end delivery of software applications, including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Working knowledge of SAP solutions, including SAP implementation, configuration, customization, integration, upgrades, and application support.

  • Familiarity with SAP modules and technologies relevant to the organization's business and application landscape.
    

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience managing enterprise application landscapes involving both SAP and non-SAP applications.

    • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, or other relevant SAP technologies.

    • Experience with application integration, APIs, middleware, data migration, and enterprise system interfaces.

    • Relevant project management or Agile certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification.
