Software and Applications Manager

Job Description

Sunline Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Software and Applications Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise financial and banking system solutions. The successful candidate will oversee software development projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for enterprise applications in the banking and financial services domain
• Manage and mentor a team of software developers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements
• Design system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security compliance
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to define technical solutions
• Oversee application integration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
• Identify opportunities for system enhancement and digital transformation initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic direction for resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead role
• Strong experience in enterprise application development, preferably in banking or financial systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, or related technologies
• Experience with system architecture design, microservices, and API integration
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment
