Software Architect
Summary
Lead end-to-end software and system architecture for integrated systems spanning applications, middleware, data, networking, and security. A hands-on architect role (Java, C#/.NET, C++, or Python) guiding dev teams, CI/CD standards, security accreditation, sensor/third-party integration, and pre-sales, based in Singapore's East Region.
Salary: $9,000 – $10,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end software and system architecture for systems, covering applications, middleware, data, networking, and security layers.
Assess existing architecture, identify gaps in performance, scalability, resilience, and security, and drive improvements through implementation.
Lead the integration of sub-systems, sensors, and third-party products, including hands-on troubleshooting and debugging during FAT/SAT and SSAT/OSAT.
Act as the technical escalation point and define requirements for high availability, redundancy, resilience, and failover.
Guide development teams through architecture, design, and code reviews, and establish engineering and CI/CD standards.
Design security-by-design solutions aligned with applicable CII requirements, and support system hardening, VA/PT remediation, security assessments, and accreditation activities.
Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical proposals, technical presentations, and effort estimation.
Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
Key Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
8+ years of relevant hands-on experience in software and/or system development, with at least 3 years of experience in a Solution/System Architect role.
Proven experience as a Lead Architect for at least two systems delivered end-to-end.
Hands-on experience in software development, coding, and debugging, using technologies such as Java, C#/.NET, C++, Python, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, system integration, virtualization, containers, and application architecture.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to management, customers, vendors, and technical teams.
Good-to-Have :
Experience with sensor technologies, such as Radar and EO/IR .
Experience with GIS.
professional certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, or equivalent relevant certifications.
