Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, identifying gaps between client’s current and desired end states
- Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects
- Follow and help define coding standards; lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
- Identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver a solution
- Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change
- Train and mentor consultants and engineers
- Understand and consult on best practices, governance, and compliance on marketing automation platforms
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent, or equivalent years of professional experience in a relevant field
- 8+ years strong Salesforce CPQ experience, Salesforce integrations, and knowledge of Azure cloud
- 5+ years of experience in managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and systems development
- Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including CPQ, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds
- Strong knowledge and experience of Salesforce development and configuration, including system architecture, scalable solutions, performance and data volume best practices, data sharing and visibility considerations
- Experience with Aura-based component and LWC-based development within the Salesforce practice
- Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN (preferred)
- Experience with development technologies such as Apex/VF, JAVA, .Net, Ruby, JS, jQuery, Angular.js, Objective C (a plus)
- Certifications on multiple Salesforce platforms (a plus)
