Software Automation Engineer

• Manual and automated functional, integration, system, regression, and interoperability testing
• Design and maintain test automation frameworks
• Strong Python and preferably Robot Framework experience
• Create test plans, test cases, and ensure requirements-to-test traceability
• Perform defect analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and test-result triage
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
• Good knowledge of Wireshark/packet capture tools
• Strong understanding of networking TCP/IP, switches, routers, VLANs, subnetting, etc.
• Experience with Linux and embedded/software systems
• Exposure to PyCharm or similar Python IDEs
• Ability to work with cross-functional/global teams and mentor team members

Must Have skills:

• Familiarity with Test Automation Frameworks, preferably Robot Framework
• Hands-on experience with PyCharm or similar Python development environments
• Good knowledge of Wireshark and packet capture tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Good knowledge of Networking concepts switches, routers, subnetting, VLANs, and basic network protocols
• Understanding of Embedded/Software systems and environments
• Experience with Linux Operating System
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with geographically distributed teams
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Willingness to research and adopt new tools and testing processes
