Software Control Engineer
Summary
Develops and maintains software for industrial automation systems, including control system design, PLC programming, and SCADA development using C# and industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Software Control Engineer will primarily develop, test, implement and maintain software for industrial automation.
- The role will involve control system design, build, installation, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Contribute to the testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring reliability and functionality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering team and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements (Qualification and Experience):
a) Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Computer – Engineering or equivalent.
b) Knowledge in Control Systems Design, Concepts and Safety Compliance Documentation.
c) Proficiency in PC-based Motion Control and User Interface programming using C# or similar languages.
d) Knowledge in PLC programming, I/O addressing and Industry Standard Communication.
e) Experience with SCADA development is a plus, preferably Ignition SCADA.
f) Possess the proficiency to draw and design electrical drawing using Autocad/Solidworks Electrical software.
g) Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both individually and in a team.
