Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software development expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable, cloud-native web applications that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of global transport systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as architects, DevOps engineers, and product managers), ensure seamless integration with hardware and software systems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces and implementing microservices for distributed systems, but also ensure the quality and scalability of the applications through modern DevOps practices.
We’ll look to you for:

Collaborating with architects to define software specifications and architecture

Designing, developing, and testing software components

Setting up and maintaining development tools and environments

Performing integration with software and hardware systems

Managing configuration and version control of deliverables

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience in full-stack web application development (e.g., Angular, TypeScript, Vue.JS)

Proficiency in designing and developing distributed systems using microservices architecture

Strong understanding of responsive UI/UX design principles

Familiarity with DevOps processes, Web APIs, and relational databases like PostgreSQL
-
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and managing applications

Experience with Azure Cloud Services, including App Services, Azure Functions, and AKS
-
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
-
Proficiency in Git-based workflows and version control systems

Familiarity with testing frameworks and quality assurance practices

Comfortable working in Agile environments and applying DevOps principles
