We are seeking an experienced Software Designer / Solution Architect to contribute to a strategic project aimed at establishing a unified platform for digital task management across multiple retail formats. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in integrating task management solutions within our existing frameworks while mentoring a designated internal employee for knowledge transfer and capability building.

Project Overview

The solution aims to centralize task management activities across various stores and headquarters, utilizing a headless architecture. Key tasks include integrating with our partners MyStore platform and utilizing Zebra Workcloud Task Management as the core task engine.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution design and architecture.

  • Guide the build team through the software design process.

  • Integrate the new solutions into the existing IT landscape.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal team members.

  • Create relevant architecture documentation and specifications.

  • Ensure both functional and non-functional requirements are met.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in software architecture and solution design.

  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills for knowledge transfer.

  • Experience with headless architecture and task management solutions.

  • Ability to manage both functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Familiarity with creating architecture definition documents and system diagrams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a retail environment.

  • Understanding of integration processes between packaged and custom solutions.

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.

Other Details
Project duration is expected to be from September 2026 to July 2027, with an average allocation of 3 days per week, particularly higher during initial project phases.
Location is in Aarhus (DK)
