Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years' relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PHP, or similar.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of APIs, Git/version control, and software development methodologies.
• Experience developing web applications will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services technology/FinTech will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications.
• Translate business requirements into functional technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain web-based and/or enterprise applications.
• Integrate systems, APIs and third-party applications where required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Develop secure, scalable, and reliable applications.
• Collaborate with business users, IT and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and system specifications.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in software testing, deployment, and system maintenance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend relevant solutions.
