Software Developer and IT Support
Summary
Develops and maintains trading systems, troubleshoots production issues, and optimizes IT infrastructure for a fintech firm’s proprietary trading and asset management operations, collaborating closely with quant researchers and traders.
Legend Arb is recruiting a junior developer in Singapore who will be an integral part of the trading and development process. The role sits alongside quant researchers and traders at the firm, and you will be developing, maintaining and optimising software and systems critical to research, trading and other parts of the business, driving high performance and ensuring reliability.
What you will be working on:
- Development/configuration of new systems and applications
- Providing technical support to identify, investigate and troubleshoot production issues
- Identifying current IT infrastructure bottlenecks and planning for infrastructure upgrades and integrations.

This role will be a good match for you if you have the following:
- 0-3years working experience with strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Added advantage if you have prior experience in time-series databases and in messaging broker platform.
- Prefer to work in a small, tight-knit team within a start-up environment.
