Software Developer (Angular & .NET)

Role Overview

We're looking for a talented Software Developer with strong Angular expertise and a solid .NET background to join development and support team in a banking environment. You'll work on exciting projects that make a real difference, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality applications that serve our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Delivery

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and .NET frameworks

• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces with Angular (HTML5, TypeScript, CSS)

• Design and implement backend services and APIs using .NET technologies

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business and system requirements

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA engineers to deliver user stories

• Execute unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with focus on readability and reusability

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security guidelines

• Follow secure coding practices and implement performance optimisation techniques

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and system outages

DevOps & Continuous Improvement

• Use version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Contribute to the development and improvement of deployment processes

• Leverage configuration management, integration, and build automation tools

• Write and maintain technical documentation

• Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and development practices

• Identify opportunities and suggest recommendations for system improvement

Essential Technical Skills

•Strong proficiency in Angular (including TypeScript, HTML5, CSS)

•Solid experience with .NET (C#,ASP.NET, .NET Core/Framework)

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services development

• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB or similar)

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Education & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines

• Experience in banking environment.

• Approximately 5 years of relevant software development experience

• Experience in frontend and backend web application development

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and their ecosystems

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-based application development

• Exposure to containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of microservices architecture

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Understanding of software testing frameworks (unit, integration, E2E)
