Software Developer (ASAP)

Skills and Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· At least 1–2+ years of relevant IT experience preferred.

· Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Service-Oriented Architecture.

· Experience in systems integration and API development (REST/SOAP).

· Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

· Experience in one or more programming languages: Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, or Node.js.

· Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

· Basic to intermediate knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD concepts.

· Experience or familiarity with Docker containerization.

· Experience or exposure to Kubernetes orchestration is an advantage.

· Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

· Knowledge of UML and BPMN is an advantage.

· Knowledge of business processes and/or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

· Good verbal and written English communication skills.

· Agile mindset with strong collaboration skills.

· Willingness to learn new technologies, including the Scheer PAS Platform.

· Able to work under pressure, handle challenges, and render overtime or shifting schedules when required.

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Develop and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data models.

• Participate in systems integration, API development, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Systems Administration) for end-to-end solution delivery.

• Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in Windows and Linux environments.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup, automation, and environment management.

• Assist in containerization and deployment of applications using Docker.

• Support orchestration and scaling strategies using Kubernetes (where applicable).

• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

• Provide production support and performance optimization when required.

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and solve issues related to the Scheer PAS Platform
