A full-stack software developer builds web and client-facing applications end to end at this IT services firm — developing ReactJS front-ends, back-end services, APIs and SQL databases, and supporting deployment via CI/CD and cloud, while collaborating with QA, cloud and project teams on client projects.
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year
About the role
You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from understanding client requirements through to building, testing, deploying and supporting applications. You'll work closely with our QA, cloud and project teams on a range of client projects.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain web and software applications to client requirements
Build responsive front-end interfaces using ReactJS
Develop and integrate back-end services, APIs and databases
Write clean, well-documented and testable code
Take part in code reviews, testing and debugging with the QA team
Support deployment through CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
Work with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time
Keep up to date with new technologies and best practices
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field
2 to 4 years of commercial software development experience
Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS
Back-end experience in at least one of Node.js / .NET / Java / Python
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Experience with Git and agile ways of working
Clear written and verbal communication in English
Full working rights in Australia
Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
