Software Developer

This full-time role is based in Makati City on a full-time hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and build optimal solutions

• Provide technical support for existing functionalities in production environments

• Design, develop and maintain internal tools and user-facing features

• Develop coding standards, methodology, and repeatable processes

• Develop and maintain automated reports (spreadsheets, email) and workflows to aid in various business operations

• Integrate third‑party tools and APIs to enhance functionality and achieve business objectives.

• Ensure code and design quality through code reviews, refactoring efforts, and execution of test plans

• Research on new trends and develop skills for new and existing technologies which may be beneficial for the project

• Engage with Quality Analyst and other developers to ensure the optimal approach for delivery and deployments

• Other tasks that may be assigned

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in full stack web development

• Should have experience with Laravel, Symfony or similar PHP Frameworks

• Experience with frontend frameworks (Vue, React, or Angular)

• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as APIs, Queues, Caching, Distributed Locking, etc

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform

• Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts, data warehousing, and reporting tools.

• Proficient in SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Experience in developing efficient queries and indexing strategies to improve database performance

• Experience in developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business users.

• Languages: PHP, Python, SQL, Javascript / Typescript

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preference:

• Experience with microservices architecture or building distributed systems

• Familiarity with Linux and Docker is a plus

• Familiarity or willing to learn Python web frameworks (Flask, Falcon)
