We're looking for a Software Developer, Business Intelligence to join our Data & Business Intelligence team. In this role, you'll help develop and support reporting solutions, ETL processes, and cloud-based technologies that power business insights for our customers. You'll work alongside a collaborative team to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions while contributing to the continued evolution of Maplewave's Insights platform.

What You'll Do

As a Software Developer, Business Intelligence, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions for telecommunications customers.
  • Build, maintain, and support ETL processes to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for reporting environments and automated deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and support Linux, MySQL, and reporting server environments.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance to support reporting and analytics.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries and system documentation.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product teams, and customer stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Maplewave's Insights platform.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, business intelligence, data development, DevOps, or a related technical field.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience working in Linux environments (CentOS or Ubuntu).
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Experience developing or automating solutions using Java, Python, Ruby, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and deployment processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with Jaspersoft, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Telecommunications industry experience.

Education

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Working Conditions

  • This role is initially 100% in-office during the onboarding and training phase. Once fully trained, you will transition into a hybrid schedule (combination of in-office and remote work).
  • Occasional overtime may be required to support project deadlines.
  • Some international travel may be required.
