Job Title: Software Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to build, enhance, and support business applications that meet organizational and operational requirements. The successful candidate will develop application features, maintain backend services, manage database operations, connect external systems, and resolve technical issues to ensure dependable software performance.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of professional development experience and strong technical knowledge of C#, .NET technologies, ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and web service integration. Experience working on enterprise platforms, particularly employee management, payroll processing, and attendance monitoring systems, is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert functional specifications into practical software designs and working application features.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.

• Build backend components and RESTful services to support communication between internal applications and external platforms.

• Create, modify, and maintain SQL Server database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and queries.

• Improve application responsiveness and database efficiency by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.

• Apply object-oriented programming principles and suitable architectural patterns to produce maintainable code.

• Perform software testing, debugging, and code evaluations to verify functionality and prevent defects.

• Investigate system errors, determine their underlying causes, and implement appropriate technical fixes.

• Participate in development planning and delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or other established project methodologies.

• Maintain source code repositories and coordinate code changes through Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

• Assist with software deployment, application configuration, release management, and post-release support.

• Prepare technical documentation covering application features, database structures, interfaces, and system changes.

• Implement appropriate security measures to protect application functionality and sensitive business information.

• Coordinate with business analysts, quality assurance personnel, project managers, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet project requirements.

• Develop and maintain business systems related to employee information, compensation, attendance, and workforce administration.

• Contribute to cloud deployment activities and improve development and release processes through automation.

• Evaluate existing applications and recommend enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Utilize AI-enabled programming assistants when appropriate to support coding, debugging, documentation, and development productivity.

• Support reporting requirements, data processing activities, and integrations between interconnected business systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in software development, including building and maintaining web-based applications.

• Strong practical knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.

• Experience developing REST APIs and connecting applications with third-party services.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database structuring, stored procedure development, query writing, and performance optimization.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.

• Experience using version control systems and collaborative development tools, such as Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of software testing, debugging techniques, and code quality standards.

• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall software development processes.

• Understanding of secure coding practices, access controls, and application security principles.

• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience developing HRIS, payroll, employee records, or timekeeping applications.

• Familiarity with enterprise business systems and cross-platform data integration.

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud computing environments.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and software deployment procedures.

• Knowledge of application monitoring, performance tuning, and system optimization.

• Experience with reporting solutions, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or similar applications.
