Summary
C++ software engineer building SCIA's structural analysis software for structural engineers — developing new features, designing module architecture, and refactoring in C++20 with Visual Studio 2022, working in SCRUM alongside analysts, testers, and support. Based in Brno or Prague with a hybrid work model.
The SCIA Development team is now looking for a skilled C++ software engineer to join our team. You will have the possibility to develop the world known software for structural engineers. You will be part of experienced and friendly team where you can apply your knowledge, enthusiasm for programming and craftsmanship.
Your main task will be:
New development based on client needs and market, maintenance of the existing product
Work according to agile development principles, SCRUM methodology
Architecture design of new modules, cooperation on its proposal
Close cooperation with analytics, testers and customer support
Adjustments and changes in application, refactoring
Participation in knowledge sharing and continuous improvements
Monitoring IT trends, innovation and new technologies
Requirements
Your experience and technical know-how:
Experience in programming and algorithmization of engineering tasks
Advanced knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming
Experience with development in MS Visual Studio
Knowledge of STL
Knowledge of GIT is your advantage

University degree or equivalent experience
