As a Software Developer at Stemilt you will work with business users, gather requirements to modify and/or build software to improve user experiences. This role drives successful solutions and users experience through excellent communication and collaboration skills. This position supports four-thousand Stemilters and it’s required to deliver extraordinary customer service at all levels, in addition to; building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Data Integrations, ERP Integrations, and Custom Applications using technologies REST APIs, PL/SQL, APEX, .NET, SSIS, Azure Applications and Power Automate.

A Software Developer at Stemilt should be proficient at architecting and developing Scalable Database-driven applications and have a sound understanding of database development. A successful Software Developer at Stemilt has a sound understanding of SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle’s APEX Framework. Additionally, they are proficient in modern web design techniques with a deep understanding of HTML, JavaScript & CSS. Microsoft SQL, .NET development and Java is the cherry on top. Outstanding critical thinking skills a must.

Additional Responsibilities

· Interpret business user’s requirements and build new and/or alter existing Systems to lead to business insights.

· Build, Maintain and/or Alter backend views to support business analysts Solutions using business tools.

· Employ Security Methodology to protect the underlying database.

· Assemble, prepare, and analyze data for system requirements and/or any other needs.

· Be a source of leading practices in the development discipline.

· Evaluate data for issues such as with accuracy, completeness, correctness, duplication, etc.

· Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.

· Gather and evaluate feedback from system users and suggest or implement solutions.

· Conduct data analysis for projects when needed.

· Manage data access to protect data.

· Create a culture within the team that leads to ensuring curious learning and extraordinary customer service for all team members.

· Create actionable and optimal communication plans for the delivery of all information related to the areas of responsibility.

· Hold self and team accountable and ensure the development of a self-leadership team culture.

· Contribute to the team and the Company in various other ways when requested or required.

Necessary Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience/education.

· 3+ years’ experience in each of the following:

o Scalable Database-Driven Software Architecture, Development, Deployment and Maintenance

o SQL and/or PL/SQL

o Modern Web Development techniques using HTML, JavaScript & CSS

o Working within a framework, ideally Oracle APEX.

· A hunger to learn new technologies and techniques to meet changing business needs.

· A working knowledge of the software development life cycle.

Additional Desired Experience:

· Oracle EBS 12.X & Development within this platform (Forms, Workflow & Reports)

· Microsoft’s SQL Server Integration Studio (SSIS)

· Microsoft’s SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

· Microsoft’s Azure Applications

· Microsoft’s Power Automate

· Java Development

· Python development for data analytics
