CASE is seeking a Software Developer to join our small, but dedicated software development team in Montevideo, Uruguay. As a technology consultancy firm with offices worldwide, we work with the building industry to help them design, build, and use buildings better. More specifically, our software development team interfaces with building industry data in complex ways from a number of sources to develop approaches that allow architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners to consume data more efficiently and effectively.
Because the barriers to create custom software are lower than ever, it’s an exciting time to develop unexpected solutions to some of the most challenging building problems in the AECO industry. We want our clients to build better buildings safer, faster, and smarter, and we believe that creating great software can help them get one step closer to achieving that. We don’t subscribe to “language-as-religion” because, for us, it’s about using the right tool for the job, so you’ll see us using systems that run PHP, JavaScript, Sphinx, .NET, C#, MySQL, Postgres, Neo4j and more.
As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll be helping us build the most innovative applications and platforms on the market for people in the building industry to get their work done. While you consider yourself a tech-savvy software developer, you are ready to get serious and take your career and coding practices to the next level. You have the drive to learn about new technologies, and tackling unique problems that require interesting solutions is a challenge you want to take.
