Software Developer

Salary: $6,000 – $8,000 per month

Role Summary

The Platform Software Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting Certis’ Security enterprise platform. The role involves full-stack development across web applications, microservices, APIs, real-time messaging, integrations and data services, with a strong focus on secure, scalable and maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and microservices using React/TypeScript and ASP.NET Core/C#.

• Build REST APIs, backend services, real-time features and event-driven integrations.

• Develop reusable capabilities across services and modules, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability across the platform.

• Work with PostgreSQL/SQL Server, Redis and messaging technologies such as NATS, Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC and secure coding practices.

• Support Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Write clean, testable and maintainable code, including appropriate unit and integration tests.

• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, messaging and deployment issues.

• Participate in requirement refinement, technical design, code review, testing and release activities.

• Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps and project teams to deliver features from requirement through release.

• Maintain relevant API, configuration and technical documentation.

Technical Skills

• Frontend: React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Material UI (MUI) or similar modern UI frameworks.

• Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API and asynchronous/service-based development.

• Database: PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server; knowledge of Redis.

• Integration & Messaging: REST/JSON APIs, NATS/Kafka/RabbitMQ or equivalent messaging technologies.

• Platform: Docker, Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Security: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, equivalent IAM, RBAC and API security.

• Observability: Familiarity with logging, monitoring and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/Loki or CloudWatch.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience for Developer level; stronger independent design and troubleshooting capability is expected for Senior Developer level.

• Hands-on experience developing modern web applications, APIs or distributed enterprise systems.

• Good understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, testing, source control and secure development practices.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

• Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
