Software Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with MVC, Razor, or Blazor
• Solid SQL Server skills, including complex queries and performance tuning
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
• Knowledge of Entity Framework and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD
• Understanding of Agile development and software architecture
• Proactive, analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute as a team player

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
• Build web applications, APIs, and desktop solutions
• Design, manage, and optimise SQL Server databases
• Improve and modernise existing systems and code
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Carry out testing, debugging, and code reviews
• Work with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

Were looking for a Software Developer to join our busy development team in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This is a permanent role working across existing systems and new software solutions, with opportunities to contribute ideas and help shape reliable, secure, high-performing software in an Agile team. The salary is up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
