Position Overview

As a Remote Software Developer at Connect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for various government contracts. Your expertise in C++ 11, Python, and GPS technology will be instrumental in delivering robust and reliable software that meets our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for government projects.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using C++ 11 and Python.
Implement GPS-related functionalities to support location-based applications.
Ensure software meets government security and compliance standards.
Debug and resolve software defects, issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Contribute to documentation and technical reports as required.
Provide technical support to clients and assist with troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in software development with C++ 11 and Python.
Familiarity with GPS technology and location-based applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and testing.
