Crystal Steel Fabricators Phils., Inc. is looking for a skilled Software Developer with strong experience in .NET application development and a growing interest or practical experience in AI integration. The role will focus on designing, developing, maintaining, and improving business applications using Microsoft technologies, while also exploring and implementing AI-powered features to enhance system functionality, automation, data processing, and user experience.

The ideal candidate has solid software development fundamentals, experience building web or desktop applications using .NET, and the ability to integrate AI services such as APIs, machine learning models, chatbots, document processing, or automation tools into existing and new applications.

Responsibilities

.NET Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core.

• Build and support web applications, desktop applications, APIs, and backend services.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code following software development best practices.

• Work with databases such as NoSQL like MongoDb, MySQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases.

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and application services.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.

• Improve existing systems for performance, usability, reliability, and security.

AI Integration

• Integrate AI capabilities into business applications using available AI APIs and services.

• Develop features such as AI-assisted search, document analysis, chatbots, automated summaries, recommendations, data extraction, or workflow automation.

• Work with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Gemini, Azure AI, or similar services.

• Connect AI models with internal systems, databases, files, and business workflows.

• Assist in designing AI-powered solutions that improve productivity and decision-making.

• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, usefulness, and business relevance.

• Help implement safeguards, validation, and user controls for AI-generated results.

System Analysis and Collaboration

• Gather and analyze user requirements from business users and stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Collaborate with team members, project managers, system analysts, and end users.

• Provide technical recommendations for improving existing applications.

• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and implementation notes.

• Support deployment, testing, and post-release monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in software development using C# and .NET.

• Experience with one or more of the following:

  • ASP.NET MVC

  • ASP.NET Core

  • Blazor

  • WinForms

  • Web API

  • Entity Framework

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

• Experience with API integration and third-party services.

• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI services such as OpenAI API, Gemini API, Azure AI, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with AI-related concepts such as:

  • Prompt engineering

  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation, or RAG

  • Embeddings

  • Semantic search

  • Document processing

  • Chatbot development

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security.

• Experience with Git or other version control systems.

• Experience working with business systems such as HRIS, project management systems, accounting systems, reporting systems, or document management systems.

Technical Skills

• Programming: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+

• Web Development: ASP.NET, Blazor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Database: MySQL, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ

• API Development: REST API, JSON, third-party API integration

• AI Integration: OpenAI, Gemini, Azure AI, AI APIs, prompt design

• Tools: Visual Studio, Git, IIS, Postman, SQL tools

• Optional: Python, cloud services, background jobs, reporting tools
