Mid-level full-stack developer building scalable data-analytics and simulation software for defence/security, using Python and SQL/NoSQL.
Overview
We’re working with a hi-tech simulation/ data-analytics company which services the defence and security market. They are looking to expand their in-house software engineering capability with the addition of a Full Stack Software Developer.
This mid-level role suits developers with ideally 3-6 years’ experience; please still apply if your experience levels fall outside this.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working closely with software engineers, PMs, and security stakeholders
- Building reusable, testable and scalable code with high quality and performance
- Supporting ongoing system integration, testing, and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Strong back-end development experience (ideally in Python), particularly working with both structured and unstructured data (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
- Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver software products.
- Proven experience in optimising systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Clearance Requirements
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a sole British to be eligible for SC clearance (or already hold it)
