Key Skills for Software Developer
· Lead the design, development, and implementation of
scalable software solutions.
· Utilize modern development frameworks and technologies to
build high-quality applications.
· Write clean, well-designed, and testable code following
agile methodologies.
· Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior
developers.
· Provide technical guidance and support to
cross-functional teams.
· Develop comprehensive documentation and training
materials.
· Align software development efforts with strategic
business objectives.
· Identify emerging technologies and industry best
practices.
· Monitor software performance metrics and system health.
· Collaborate with IT operations teams for seamless
deployment.
· Proactively identify and address issues to optimize
performance.
· Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
· Drive continuous enhancement of software capabilities.
· Develop long-term technology roadmaps and strategic
plans.
· Streamline software delivery processes and improve
operational efficiency.
· Ensure adherence to all Company’s standards/policies and regulatory
provisions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years)
in software development, with expertise in programming languages such as .NET
framework, Java, Python, or VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or React.
• Experience within the
Pension Industry is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of
software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies (Agile,
Scrum, etc.).
• Experience with cloud
platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker,
Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication,
leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact
with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Solid analytical and
problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical
solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of the IT Management within the pension
industry.
