Software Developer

You'll form the foundation that protects and connects the digital identity of users around the world. You will build and maintain the core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure of the hConnect platform, develop modules that integrate with national eID systems and external identity services, and ensure stability while scaling for future traffic growth. You'll design and maintain reliable, flexible APIs for internal and external integrations, and collaborate with teammates through code reviews to foster a strong engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the global authentication platform
• Build and maintain core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure of the hConnect platform
• Integrate with diverse identity systems including national eID systems and external identity services
• Build scalable systems that handle future traffic growth and feature expansion
• Design flexible and scalable APIs for internal services and external partners
• Collaborate through code reviews and write clean maintainable code

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Node.js and TypeScript
• At least 2 years of backend development experience
• Strong CS fundamentals and hands-on mastery of at least one technology
• Practical experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Access Token flows
• 0-to-1 product experience building early-stage products
• Understanding of client environment compatibility challenges across browsers and mobile platforms
• Experience with test automation and code quality improvement
• Experience designing and operating architectures for large-scale traffic
• API Gateway / PaaS / SaaS development experience
• Experience with Docker, RabbitMQ/Kafka, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
