Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and backend applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
- Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
