Your Role
As a Software Developer in Test, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and backend applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
What You Need
Non‑negotiables
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Hands‑on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Preferred Skills / Expertise
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
- Understanding of test‑driven development (TDD) or behavior‑driven development (BDD) practices.
- Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
