Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
- Write high-quality, testable, and efficient code according to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, testers, and other developers.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration between services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and systems.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong understanding of Java 8+ and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful web services.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and SQL.
- Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle, and version control systems like Git.
- Experience with microservices architecture is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
