Summary
Junior software developer contract (Sept 2026–Mar 2027) placed by Upstaff with Ontario's Government Services Integration Cluster, 100% onsite in Toronto. Day to day: coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and migrating enterprise data-driven applications through the SDLC, using Informatica IDMC/CDGC, Azure Data Platform, SQL Server, and Power BI.

- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications.
- Write and/or generate application code.
- Compile and work with data-driven programs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems arising during the use and operation of software packages.
- Provide technical assistance during software implementation, conversion, and migration activities.

- Participate in application design, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Requirements
- Programming and analysis, including specialized software package support at the required experience level.

- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL methodologies, and OBIEE.
- Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is a strong asset.

- Leadership abilities to oversee the technical quality assurance of a project.
