Software Developer (Lake District)
£50,000+ (plus enhanced benefits, incl. Leisure & Golf Club membership)
At CGP, we develop all business systems and digital products from our offices on the edge of the beautiful Lake District. Why do it all ourselves? The answer’s simple. It’s all about high standards and trust — we need to have total trust in our systems, products and people to ensure we deliver annual sales of c. £40m.
Who are we looking for?
If you’re an experienced developer with C# experience (ideally in an Ecommerce environment) who’s knocking on the door of a senior position, this could be just the role for you. We’ll take all the usual skills for granted — SOLID design principles, Agile delivery methods, MVC and MVVM. The hard bit is finding the right sort of person to join the team.
You’ll likely have a STEM degree from a top university, but provided you’re:
- Open-minded and flexible
- Logical and quick to pick things up
- Driven by high standards
- Able to work within an agreed structure
- Self-motivated and a problem solver…
…you could have a great career at CGP.
There are no barriers to progression — it’s all down to you and what you deliver. To find out more about CGP, check out our Great Place to Workvideo on our website. You’ll also find more here about the technologies we use, how we work and what we expect from our employees.
We believe the best way for great ideas to flourish is to work on site alongside your colleagues, so this isn’t a role where you’ll sit at home with rare human contact. A hybrid arrangement can happen in time, but this shouldn’t be what drives you.
Excited?
Head to our website to find out more. Then, to apply, email your CV with a cracking covering letter telling us what excites you about this great opportunity in the beautiful Lake District. Please remember to include details of your current salary and benefits in your application.
