Software Developer
Summary
Full-time, on-site Software Developer in Hamilton, ON, designing, developing, testing and supporting software for Liburdi's specialized welding equipment systems, from requirements through implementation and end-user support. Core stack is Visual Studio, .NET, C#, XAML and XML, with required industrial Ethernet (CIP/EtherNet/IP) experience; Python/PyTorch is an asset.
- Work directly with customers to define requirements, train and support end users
- Communicate ideas effectively with other developers during planning sessions and code reviews
- Design, develop, test, debug and document software solutions from start to finish
- Assist in the maintenance, support, and updating of our existing codebases
- Research and learn new technology and tools in software development on an ongoing basis
- Excellent results oriented planning, organization and project skills
- Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to prioritize work effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor in Software Engineering is required
- Experience with Visual Studio, .NET, XAML, C#, XML is required
- Experience implementing industrial Ethernet protocols (CIP/EtherNet/IP) is required
- Knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles is an asset
- Experience with multithreaded architecture is an asset
- Experience with Python and PyTorch libraries is an asset
- Awareness of ISO 9001
