Software Developer (m/w/d)

Summary

Develops and maintains eCommerce websites using Adobe Commerce, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL, building custom modules and integrating third-party APIs.

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 per year

  • We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong background in web development and experience in Adobe Commerce. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A proven track record in software development with a focus on web and eCommerce.
  • Experience in Adobe Commerce, including custom module development and theming.
  • Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and server provisioning.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with Linux-based environments, Nginx/Apache, and monitoring tools is also advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:
  • As part of our team, you will:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Adobe Commerce modules, themes, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and manage web servers in cloud environments.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across the Adobe Commerce stack (PHP, MySQL, RabbitMQ).
  • Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across front-end and back-end systems.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
