Software Developer Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Software Manager to lead our software development team, oversee project delivery, and ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage software developers, QA engineers, and technical teams.

• Plan, oversee, and monitor software development projects from concept to deployment.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.

• Establish development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.

• Review system architecture and recommend scalable technology solutions.

• Monitor team performance and support professional development initiatives.

• Coordinate testing, deployment, maintenance, and system upgrades.

• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.

• Prepare project reports, timelines, and progress updates for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in software development and team management.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, or Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with programming languages, databases, cloud platforms, and system integration.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling enterprise or web-based applications.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.

• Project Management or Agile certifications are an advantage.
