Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team! This is a remote position that requires travel to Clarksburg, WV once a year.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
- Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
- Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
- Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
- Designs embedded systems software.
- Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of IT related experience OR Master's Degree and 2+ years OR Associate's degree and 6+ years OR High School Diploma and 8+ years of IT related experience is acceptable.
- 4 + years’ hands on development experience with Java in Linux environments.
- 4+ years’ hands on development experience with NodeJS and Angular.
- 4+ years’ experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.
- Development experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas or similar cloud technologies
- Experience with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.
- Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.
- Ability to analyze requirements and maintain test and integrate applications.
- Ability to travel to Clarksburg, WV one time per year
Security Clearance Requirements: Active/current Secret clearance is required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
