Software Developer – Mobile Developer (Android / iOS)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Software Developer with strong hands-on expertise in either Android or iOS application development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, securing, and supporting high-quality mobile applications used in enterprise environments.

The role requires strong knowledge of modern mobile development practices, mobile architecture,API integration, application security, testing, performance optimization, and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain native mobile applications for Android or iOS platforms.
• Develop scalable and maintainable mobile applications using modern architecture and coding standards.
• Android: Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• iOS: Swift, iOS SDK, SwiftUI/UIKit, MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party services.
• Implement networking, asynchronous programming, local database/storage, caching, and offline-first capabilities.
• Develop secure mobile applications using encryption, secure storage, SSL/TLS, certificate/SSL pinning, biometric authentication, and secure coding practices.
• Implement appropriate authentication and authorization mechanisms for mobile applications.
• Develop comprehensive unit, UI, integration, and regression tests.
• Troubleshoot application defects, production issues, crashes, performance bottlenecks, and memory-related issues.
• Perform application profiling and performance optimization across supported mobile devices and operating systems.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and architectural standards.
• Manage source code using Git and build/dependency management using Gradle, Xcode, or equivalent tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, quality checks, and deployment.
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architecture decisions, development standards, and engineering best practices.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in native mobile application development.
• Strong practical experience in either Android or iOS development.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern mobile application architecture such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Strong experience in REST API integration, networking, asynchronous programming, and local data storage.
• Practical experience implementing mobile application security controls, including encryption, secure storage, SSL/certificate pinning, and biometric authentication.
• Experience in unit testing, UI testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodology, code quality, and version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mobile application issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, or other regulated industries.
• Experience developing applications supporting high transaction volumes and enterprise-scale environments.
• Knowledge of payment technologies, digital banking, mobile wallets, authentication, or financial applications.
• Experience with mobile application monitoring, crash analytics, and production observability tools.
• Exposure to cloud-based application ecosystems and enterprise API platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
